After the first Superman comic, Action Comics #1 has the first installment of "Chuck" Dawson, a kind of generic cowboy story. Since Chuck uses "jiu-jitsu" I had fun making my approximation of him use more authentic Japanese Jujutsu moves.
Seriously, 64GB of storage, 512MB of RAM, 1GHz CPU, about half the footprint of a credit card.
I'm doing a little project that uses a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, and it's still mind-blowing how a working computer with a 1GHz processor, Wi-Fi, and 512MB of RAM (and storage according to whatever size of micro SD card you're willing to buy) is that small.
Working on a prologue thing for the Xeroverse where the Masked Ranger (basically the Lone Ranger) acts as a cosmic guide to an alternate Xero from the shitty 2004 movie (so basically imagine the protagonist of Hackers with superpowers). The Masked Ranger is unflappable, but not for lack of trying on Doug's part.
Unless you open the cover and see "NO" in huge letters, this feels like a poor choice on the part of *checks notes* Skeptic Magazine.
Some Guy: [thing people enjoy] is cringe
Reply: thanks Cringer
He-Man's pet green tiger is named Cringer and seriously how is that not a meme?
At the Museum of Jurassic Technology I picked up the Encyclopædia of Superstitions, which is where you can learn that making a child eat mice on toast cures bedwetting (I assume because the kid becomes terrified of their unhinged parents).
I don't entirely know how the ending of my Xeroverse series is going to work out, but it's definitely gonna be weird, plus it'll have Killfile (my Deadpool parody) yelling about the weirdness.
I missed this the first time.
