I still see a lot of people saying "Women are this way" or "Men are this way".... Can we not define the way people are, or what people are, by what they have in between their legs or other biology, or put people into a single group of character based on their biological attributes? So I just found out about the whole Neil Gaiman thing. I wil now feel uncomforable reading his books. But i have to ask myself, and this is not the best example, would i stop using the wheel if its inventor did terrible things? Or If i found out Beethoven was a serial killer, i would have to ask myself if i was still comfortable listening to his music, but that doesn't erase all of the amazing experiences i had with his music.
Art does not stop being art, nor does it depend on it's creator doing good things to be art. So I feel like the most important thing is to not judge people for their choices on reading or not reading books written by authors that do bad things, as this is an issue that has no clear answer, at least to me. #neilgaiman #books #authors #art

just in case it came down to it, i would love to know if there was any way at all that a low income, disabled person, could leave the country.

i feel like modern politics is listing the the problems with one party, and even if all of the problems mentioned are true, they fail to notice the problems that are also in their own party. if this is not overlooked then great things can happen.

I always thought nvidia only worked on x11 and not wayland but switching to hybrid and using prime-run finally got it to work on wayland. #linux #nvidia
