One habit I have on FB is posting pics of my lunch! Friends tend to like them, maybe as confirmation that I am still feeding myself at the age of 81.
I have generally spared Mastodon! But here is today's lunch: grilled Chicken Kyiv with vegetables.

Meta/FB PINGED MY OWN BLOG POST! To which I replied on FB knowing it is probably pointless:
Go to my Mastodon where actual humans make decisions. The post is there. Obviously a dumb AI bot did this. Clearly no sentient being who can read English even looked at my blog post. Nor did the Dumbot note that rather than "seeking likes" my FB is CLOSED to all but friends!

Very disturbing Four Corners -- especially as for several Saturdays and Sundays I have been watching that outstanding doco series "The Abyss" on SBS. Echoes and similarities but not suggesting identity of course, but the echoes are terrifying enough.
The closing images of this episode are difficult to unsee. Truly shocking.
