this is for every teacher that fights against oppression and ignorance and exclusion around the world,

underfunded, underpaid, deprived by motivation, overwhelmed by responsibilities that surpass your human abilities,

threatened and harassed and punished if you ask for more or refuse to comply with injustice
-because then you set an example for everyone.

Take a breath.
Then keep going.

Y'all, #teacherburnout is real! I am close enough to retirement that I don't want to quit and have to start over somewhere new. However, I am also still far enough away from retiring that it feels too far away. What to do?
