This was never really true. While he had himself assigned a cubical like everyone else, he worked every day in a conference room which he used as his office.
It never made sense that the CEO of a company wouldn't have a regular place to have private conversations, anyway. It was always a ridiculous fiction.

Too be fair, anyone trying to photograph "Bladerunner Day" in SF on Sept 9, 2020 had to resort to Photoshop anyway because the iPhone automatically "color-corrected" the view outside.
