Amelie’s haiku on display for festival season. Loose translation: Translator, is out of battery, what to do?
The most strikingly human trait of AI is its ability to convincingly emulate human behavior. Prime example, the more AI interacts with humans, the more its intelligence diminishes.
Let the reno begin (after we find the money to do it). As of today this little beauty is officially ours (once the paper work hurdles are all jumped). So yeah, a little ahead of myself but as we’ve got the keys and permission to start reno I’m keen to celebrate.
I'm gonna keep posting this until one of you fucking boosts it
If Elon Musk can afford to lose $200 billion in a single year, he can afford a wealth tax.
@fkamiah17 having just finished listening to the latest Heavyweight podcast this is especially poignant. Worthy of a listen, had my wife giggling all the way home from outrouting today.

I’ve found a fairly simple problem that ChatGPT seems incapable of solving or learning. It’s also a task I believe a year 4 student could solve quite easily.

What is the first letter of each lyric in this chorus : “I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does”

One step closer to calling this view home.
It’s no fun having teenage daughters.

Why does the ABC News site now hassle me every day about logging in? Logging in to read the news is an awful idea, it's an open invitation to the site to keep me in my bubble. I don't want my news customised, and for that matter I dont want anyone else's news customised either.

We are told over and over that if you're not paying, you're the product. This seems more and more true of even the ABC. I do not want to be the product of our national broadcaster, I do not want the national broadcaster to gather data on me, I do not want to be involved in yet another data breach.

So far I can refuse to login. Logging in was optional to iview as well, at first. But the national broadcaster that is paid for by my tax dollars insists on trying to track me.

I do not accept. I will never accept. I do not want a national broadcaster like this, and I do not want to fund a national broadcaster like this. If it is paid for with tax dollars it should not be paid for by data harvesting as well.
