My book COME AGAIN was released 5 years ago today! I remain very proud of my work in this one. All of my solo fiction is stand-alone but interconnected, but this one subtly ties everything together. FALL THROUGH is woven into this universe with the introduction of Diamond Mine, and the book after that even more so. Read it if you haven’t yet.

I’ll have one or two more made over the fall, and the book comes out from Abrams in early February.
On a whim, I decided this bookplate is gonna be a print instead. 16”x20”, limited to 70– I’ll have some at CXC in late September. Damn, prints are…fun?!
Date At The Payphone: a quick, incredibly fun side-quest combining a character from my make-believe touring band with a real-life band’s tour poster. I’ll show more as soon as they announce the dates!
Surviving victims of the 1968 My Lai massacre. The time spent studying these real people’s faces & body language automatically sends me imagining & empathizing with their pain, horror, grief, anger, trauma. It’s essential to include images & photos like these in history textbooks for their humanization of other people’s experiences— when reality-averse Republicans work to remove these moments from schools, it’s because they want future generations without empathy, numb to dehumanization.
