I am in the early stages of scoping out and designing a NEW GAME. haven't done one of those for AGES.
so: are you, or do you know, a coder who might like to work with me on creating an indie game? I think I'm basically looking for "someone who knows and likes my work & would be excited to talk to me about a new project" (for money).

The thing that is brilliant about The Boys From Brazil is that this is exactly as nuts as Nazism was. The plan in the movie is totally utterly bonkers and this is a perfect reflection of Nazism.
As of today, my Japanese is at that appalling level where, combined with the name Naomi, I’m able to ask short questions in Japanese sufficiently convincingly that I get an answer in Japanese which I have no hope of understanding.
Anyway, the sky very much is the colour of a television tuned to a dead channel.
Arrived in Japan for first ever trip. Not even at the hotel and already three people have asked me why I’m called Naomi. Because it’s also a Japanese name! So I imagine they’re expecting someone who looks quite different. They seem a little dissatisfied when I say “it’s also a Jewish name”. Tempted to make up some satisfying lie eg that my grandfather was Japanese but I feel this is how Larry David ends up getting himself in trouble every episode.
I fucking hate that I can’t review my workout data on my Apple Watch without “setting a move goal” (and a stand goal! And an exercise goal!)
How about if I’m someone who’s made fitness apps for 12 years, Apple, and I don’t believe in the goal-setting and rewarding paradigm because I’ve actually read the research on the long term demotivating effect of rewards you fuckers?
How about if I just want you to count my lengths in the pool and not enrol me in your head-patting regime?
