I have been told Linux is more environmentally friendly and that was a total lie. I have tried absolutely everything and even so i have a battery discharge rate of 20W while idling while Windows gets as low as 10W in the same conditions.

Failed ideas:
- Disable Nvidia drivers completely
- Backlight? USB devices? Bluetooth? Wifi? no significant difference
- Refresh rate? I mean, kinda, but not a big diff at all
- Install auto-cpufreq and WOOO magic 3x increase! No, nothing happened, i almost think it ran worse.
- Integrated graphics is using PSR? Yes.
- Wayland fault? No, same story on X11.
- Window managers fault? Nope. I get 20W even inside a TTY.
- NVMe not going into low power mode? Actually possible. They do support it, but it seems Debian Trixie's kernel was compiled without it for some reason?
- Theres a billion PCI devices in powertop? Yes, but thats how it should be for the computer to run.

Good:
- grammar correction and writing suggestions (use a local model)
- generate color palletes for this configuration file (use local model if you already have a template for it)
- I KNOW this API exists so just tell me how to use it
- What versions of this package are compatible with this thing?
- Tell me how to do this thing with this technology or tool i NEVER wanna touch again. I dont care to learn this thing. I dont care about it. I just need this one simple thing with this thing i didnt want to need to use.
- things you just dont know how to look up
- windows apis
- sample data

90% likely to waste your time:
- How do i x in y? (hallucinates API)
- religious or philosophical questions (dont let linear algebra decide how you traverse life)
- things you havent yet looked up, read the docs for, or tried to debug with your own brain (will take you on a wild journey to debug an issue whose solution is laid out plain and simple on the docs or internet)

For some totally bizarre reason, if you click and hold on ANY Windows notification you can zoom it in and out with Ctrl+ or Ctrl- or Ctrl+Scroll Wheel in a way which seems completely unintended and which persists between notifications.

The only way i am able to get bluetooth to work on Linux or Windows after dual booting is to do a hard shutdown on Windows via holding Shift while clicking Shutdown (or just a regular shutdown on Linux) and booting into either OS and re-pairing (not necessary to actually put the device in pairing mode, just to remove it and when searching device it will still find it and connect).

Switching OS's still breaks it.

Messed around with random stack exchange commands to get a new MAC address and whatever but no luck. Shutdown into re-pair is the only consistent setup i have found.

After using Wezterm im beginning to think that Windows Terminal is one of the best terminals ever made, which is a baffling statement
