Newsmax appears to have lost its contract with its DIRECTTV because it demanded carrier fees that surpass its value to the company.

This story reminds us that he's in a race against time. The revenue he needs to maintain this operation is not coming in & he is desperate.

Who does this BOGO offer appeal to? Not prestige brands. They left due to brand safety concerns.

However, coupon-clipping brands WILL accept the offer & flood our timelines w/ crappy ads. This not only degrades the user experience but further turns off prestige brands.

People keep asking me for advice on getting advertisers to drop Twitter and I keep telling them that for once, doing nothing is the answer. No one could sabotage Twitter's value faster than M*sk itself.
