Gute Nachricht. Der Entwickler von Amaroq wird wohl beim nächsten großen Update die Leseposition merken können und die Feeds automatisch aktualisieren können. Cool

inmysocks Of Doom, Naked KSCYes, there are languages other than english on the federated timeline, quel horreur!!. This is a feature, not a bug. Insisting that it is only english is horrible for more reasons than I have space to talk about here.
If you do want to suggest something to get a timeline where you can read all the posts don't be a racist dickbag while you do it.
Example: asking for language tags on toots may actually be useful, saying something about escaping the rice and sushi is fucking terrible
Hm. Amaroq lädt mir den Home-Feed nicht beim App-Start. Bleibt oft komplett leer und nach erzwungenen Refresh ist meine Leseposition weg. Welche App (iOS) nutzt ihr so?
Oh and by the way: I didn't get twitter years ago too and was sure, that it won't stick for very long. So … if I'm sure that mastodon is doomed to fail because of its added complexity that may be a good thing 😜😂
Das ist mir alles noch suspekt hier. Verschiedene Server - Instanzen? - haben jeweils eigene User. User finden klappt nur(?) wenn man auch die Instanz kennt? Sync nicht zeitnah oder gar nicht? Was passiert wenn ein Betreiber keinen Bock mehr hat mit den Accounts? Kann jeder eine Instanz aufsetzen? Ich auch nur für mich und trotzdem mitspielen? Ist das jetzt FidoNet 4.0 oder wie ist das zu verstehen?
