My fluffy creature always has the same exceedingly serious expression as me.
I hadn't drawn much of anything in months, then I casually drew this in the space of an hour or so. Berta has become rather close to me. Her family sucks, so I've been watching over her.
An extremely concerning canister sitting in a cabinet here, for some reason.
Cores.

I found the original drawing of my character!

This would have been around 2010 or 2011.

I drew it on a page I was using to try to get a pen working, along with a bunch of other random doodles.

Not me explaining how multi-word line core memory would work using napkin diagrams.

To my knowledge, no working memory of this design was ever built. It reduces the number of wires per core to just two, but introduces the complexity of needing to selectively inhibit all the columns not being read by driving them forward during read cycles, but still pick up the weak sense signal from the column you want to read.

Yeah, I hate when my hard drives are allowed to escape.

There were shitty crayons in the break room at work.

Everyone likes to reduce people to their worst moments. But a single moment doesn't show what's underneath.

CW: Bloodied knuckles.

Why have I never bothered to try Termux? You can just install and run clang on your phone!

So, Webfishing's drawing system is a challenge.

Also buggy.
