Host of the podcast Almost Plausible, where I and a couple of friends take an ordinary object (such as a paperclip, eggnog, or a toilet brush) and come up with a movie plot based on that object.
Also, a plane gliding to a landing still needs a pretty large, clear area to touchdown and come to a stop safely. Helicopters landing using autorotation need far less space.
I played Munchkin once and hated it. The barrier to entry on that game is way too high.
“Gluteal orthotic device”

I have a podcast called Almost Plausible that I make with a couple of friends. We take an ordinary object (like a pillow, or a zipper, or a ceiling fan) and we create a movie plot based on that object.

We’ve been doing the show for nearly 4 years now. It’s fun to make, but it takes up a fair amount of my time. For me, a “reward” would just be more listeners. That would feel very validating.

Almost Plausible - The best movies you’ll never see

A podcast where 3 friends take ordinary ideas and turn them into (almost) plausible stories.

I’m guessing these are the same guys that don’t wipe their own butts after they poop because they think touching a man’s butt is gay.

Heist (2001)

I like all of Mamet’s films, but Heist is head and shoulders above the rest, IMO. Besides being a well written heist film with a great cast, it rewards rewatching. I’ve watched it so many times, but the last time I watched it, I caught a new detail I hadn’t noticed before.

Glad to see I wasn’t the only one.

I’m a bit of a pomophile myself.
Hopefully they actually use the pool and don’t end up getting sucked into something on TV.
