GLAM-E Lab launches the Open GLAM Toolkit developed with GLAMs around the world

YouTube
As we reach the end of 2024, the GLAM-E Lab has worked with over 24 organizations to create or expand their open access programs. Is your organization exploring a new open access program? Do you have questions not addressed in the existing GLAM-E Lab resources? Reach out! You might be our next collaborator!

GLAM-E Lab

The GLAM-E Lab works directly with GLAM institutions to develop open access solutions accessible to the entire GLAM community.

GLAM-E Lab
All of this has been developed using the GLAM-E Lab model: work directly with organizations to remove legal barriers to creating open access programs, and transform what we learn into standardized, turn-key resources for the rest of the community

The OpenGLAM Survey 2.0 is a GARGANTUAN upgrade to the most comprehensive catalog of open GLAM institutions in the world, making it easier to explore for you and easier to keep up to date for us

The Open GLAM Survey provides insight on open access policies and practice across the global sector of Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums.

The toolkit guides you through all of the legal and practical elements of building an open access program, including assessing & mitigating risk, clearing copyright, adding images to wikimedia, & selecting licenses

These questions may have really good answers! If that's the case, it would be nice of Prusa to share them so that everyone else can learn from them. Maybe even address them.
I think they should actually explain to the community what challenges an open source approach were unable to help them overcome. Instead, at least for now, we're getting vague claims about cloning that don't really make sense when you start asking follow up questions
