The fact that someone thought an LLM *might* be able to play chess demonstrates the deep level of public ignorance around current AI tech. This just isn’t what LLMs are designed or intended to do. And a lot of that is because of the relentless marketing of LLMs as, effectively, General AI, which they absolutely aren’t.
You might as well ask a factorisation algorithm to write a novel 🙄
