This wax model is based on a specimen presented to the museum by the Department of Agriculture, Tasmania via P. H. Thomas, Director of Fruit Culture, 01 August 1941. The model was made in the museum by curator, R. H. Fowler, August 1941. This apple is a dessert variety and is harvested in late season.
