I worked for many years in a library. So my (probably) last job is a corporate one, but a nice company.
After spending most of my life in upstate NY I am currently in Nashville, TN. No matter what hype you hear, do not move here, we are FULL UP. Housing has gone insane
Books, films, music, politics.
In my later years I am -what - happy?!
Who would have thought?

Made plans for Thanksgiving but they exploded from 3 to 7 people, 4 of whom won’t talk to me. For this I have to cook?

I see, it’s hard to get the hang of a new space. Probably blundered already. So we take it slow?
