Still proud of my kid’s two goal afternoon this Sunday up at the Buffalo tournament. He’s very much a defensive defenseman and only a few seasons ago would have been reluctant to shoot and prefer to find the “perfect pass” but these two goals put him up to three on the season; more goals he’s had in the last two years combined. https://www.hudl.com/v/2JrZch

@RangerRick @minter I mean I’m figuring it out somewhat, and it does have a “Twitter in ‘09 or whenever the hell I joined that site originally” feel. There’s part of me that wants to dive into this more (and 10-15 years ago me probably would have started a server at thia point), but also *waves hands* stuff.
I will say that the “can only see followers/who they’re following that match your server” is a major issue for me. Getting an idea where’s you’re coming from and the type of accounts you follow helps me find other people on this service. It wouldn’t be a big deal later on, but it’d be a great help during this “discovery phase.”
Still getting used to this format, and my timeline seems more “LinkedIn” than the bird site at this moment (shock - tech people tend to be earlier adopters while also understanding better what’s going on over in Elon’s World.)
So I’m kind of on my best behavior here, at least for the time being, since these people might actually hire me for a real job with real benefits one day.
Just sayin’ - always looking.
