#OpenAI just released a classifier designed to detect AI-generated text, including #ChatGPT. When run on many samples of ChatGPT output it produces a result of "possibly AI-generated."

The first nontrivial example I tried was the lyrics to ABBA's 1975 hit "Mamma Mia", and the classifier gave the result "*likely* AI-generated".

So it's apparently more confident that ABBA is an AI than ChatGPT!
