ARRRR!!! The Cap'n just prevented me from committing secrets to a public repository. I knew I should have gone to bed 🙃
Good to know that the Cap'n is watching over my sleep deprived shoulder 🏴‍☠️ #commit-like-a-pirate
A random person reached out to me just to say thank you for something I put online.
She just made my day!
Arrr! A new CaptainHook be settin’ sail! ⚓️
These last voyages be all ‘bout makin’ yer config as simple as swabbin’ the deck. Ye can now use mighty shorthands and toss all that redundant clutter overboard. And the commit message handling? Polished like a treasure chest o’ coin! 🪙
Hoist the Jolly Roger and give it a try, ye scallywags!
Since it is getting more and more difficult to support older PHP versions and PHP 8.5 is around the corner, I will drop support for PHP 8.0 in all upcoming releases.
Version 8.1 is still used by roughly 15%. Not sure I want to leave them behind.

Hey @heiglandreas, I need to pick your brain for a second to make sure I'm not going overboard.

Add action and condition shorthands to simplify the configuration by sebastianfeldmann · Pull Request #277 · captainhook-git/captainhook

Over the last couple of versions I tried to slim the minimal required configuration down a bit. But for internal features the action configuration still feels a bit messy. I want to move from { ...

I am seeking speakers for my @phpugffm & @phpugmrn meetups. We prefer in-person presentations in Frankfurt or the Mannheim area, but remote talks are also an option.

If you have anything interesting to share with us, let us know. We'd be more than happy to have you! Thx!

Had two amazing days at the @phpunit codesprint. After working mostly together on a single issue yesterday, today we worked on separate issues in teams of two or three people.
@__edorian and I created a bugfix for some functionality that annoyed the heck out of us all yesterday.
At least in the future we should not be bothered by this again :)
