Fostering community in a world of radical individualism reminds me of the night-shift pollinators; we must be intent on keeping life going, even in the darkness.

@ChronicGrouch lovely to meet you too!! 🌷
ohhh! I read the synopsis and the premise sounds so intriguing. That sounds so refreshing to find a new book like that and break into another genre. I haven't read any sci-fi in a while. Oddly enough, weather/seasons tend to rule my genre preferences. I have recently been listening to some sci-fi podcasts, which makes me excited to check the book out. 🌟Thank you for sharing. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Which genres do you usually like to read? 🌟
@ChaseTMAnderson ah! that sounds so good. I will check that out. I'm so glad you're enjoying reading it. I'm not sure if I've ever read a true duology yet! I started getting more into fantasy books this year. soo i can't get enough🌸 The poppy war and six crimson cranes are two i enjoyed.🌸

@thebiglaskowski Ones I read this year and loved:
Kaikeyi: by Vaishnavi Patel (very heavy read)

Get a life Chloe Brown (Cw: it's a spicy romance novel + there's fibromyalgia representation 💓)

The Collected Stories Of Winnie the Pooh ( I know it's silly but the audiobook version of this has a great cast and it's a comfort read )

@thebiglaskowski Hi!! Audiobooks are amazing. They've been my go-to since getting sick. I use the Libby app, although there's often a wait. but I kind of like knowing other people are out there reading too. I love the titles of those. I am going to check them out. Thank you for sharing. 🌸
@meisreal I'm very sorry you haven't been able to read books for so long. I hope you have found some hobbies that can bring joy in their own ways. 🌷
Thank you for sharing the last one you read.
I genuinely love learning about people's interests, which makes that the perfect answer to the question. One of my favorite parts of going to used books stores has always been knowing another person might have loved any of the books in there and that idea is comforting to me.

Hello 🌿 I don't quite have a handle on this app yet. Please excuse the mistakes while I am learning.

As an icebreaker, I thought it might be fun to start a discussion about books you all have enjoyed this year. I'd love to hear about stories that have mattered and made an impact.

@nisreen this looks so peaceful 🍂🍃
