I love these fruits (Arbutus unedo). You can't buy them, but they grow everywhere in the mediterranean.

They look and taste a little bit like strawberry. Pick more orange ones and you go in the apple direction or the red ones to go banana direction.

You never can't eat so many as you can pick on your route.

Sunset over the brackish lake with many differen birds.
I mostly just wander around without plan, so to my surprise I learned that these ruins are from the Abbey of San Pancrazio al Fango (8th - 9th century) and they are placed on a hill where somewhere once a wealthy roman called Publius Clodius Pulcher built his (illegal) villa. Later Clodius was allegedly murdered by his poltical opponent Titus Annius Milo, when they both met travelling on the Via Appia. In the trial he was defended by Cicero with a speech called "Pro Milone". So know we learned that.
