Well now it's refusing to install? I feel like the fact that the subdomain is a CNAME pointing to a whole other server may be an issue here.
@robdaemon It seems to be working now? Not sure what I did?
@bigjsl I deleted the A record and put in the CNAME record, but it's taking forever.
@robdaemon I'm about ready to blow away my whole existing site, cancel my "new" masto host, and start over from scratch.

Apparently I screwed up the DNS settings. I think I have those right now, but they need time to propagate.
Well something's not right -- I generate a let's encrypt cert for soc.studio8502.ca and now it won't connect at all.
Picked up the mouse for the FreeBSD box. Soon as I’m done dealing with Mastodon, it’s back to work on Agora and GNUstep.
@xenenic Assume the subdomain is at a different IP than the main domain. What’s the certbot command line to use?
