As a #mastodonnewbie I'm still adjusting to the idea that liking a post isn't training an algorithm to serve me similar content. It's just saying "good job" to the person who posted. How quaint!
I'm in the middle of a week-long experiment on #tiktok where I intentionally post bad content, to see how many followers I lose.
So far I've gained followers. There's a lesson in there somewhere, will try to unpack once the final numbers are in.
