What advice do y'all have for someone who is well out of college but has decided that they want to go into #publishing? Is there any hope if you haven't done an internship with a publisher already?

Is there anyone else out there who is just starting to learn #Japanese? I'm very new to it and using Duolingo. I just got the Genki textbook.

I love clear files and pencil boards. They're not common American stationary items, but I definitely use the files a lot in my daily life. The pencil boards are just cute. :3

There was really the sense that there was a community out there, and I guess maybe I'm hoping that I can try doing that community thing again with Mastodon? Because Twitter is loud and crowded, and this space is smaller so far.
