Is it normal that a SoC (supposedly, didn't dig much) designed to run in phones runs up to ~80ºC idle within a case?

Please, someone tell me why coursework must be done in groups  

They always do the same: procrastinate for the whole week, appear 48h before deadline, rush work and then forget to add me in the roster

I downloaded their stuff as fodder to a Comp Vis course.
As it turns out, only ~500 (!) of 20k papers published last year were through reputable journals (with recorded impact factor, that is). The rest were either locally, in pretty dubious places, or without an ISSN at all.

Is this normal? @lm @dantheclamman @WilliamConey
