I will no longer support or shop at Shein because of ongoing concerns about product safety, quality control, and how the platform is managed. Multiple investigations have reported issues with some products containing unsafe levels of chemicals or failing safety standards. There have also been serious concerns about third-party sellers listing inappropriate or illegal items, which raises questions about how well the company monitors what is being sold, especially when it comes to children’s products.

The repeated nature of these issues shows a lack of consistent oversight and accountability. Because of this, I no longer feel confident shopping there or comfortable supporting the brand, and I prefer to choose retailers with stronger safety checks and more reliable quality control.

Hydnellum peckii is a non-toxic fungus known for producing red droplets on its surface when young. It grows on the ground in coniferous forests, especially in North America and Europe, and forms a symbiotic relationship with tree roots (a mycorrhizal fungus).

Key facts:

* Produces red fluid through a process called guttation (not actual blood)
* Not poisonous, but inedible due to very bitter taste
* Plays a role in forest ecosystems by helping trees absorb nutrients
* Contains natural compounds with antibacterial and anticoagulant properties
