@ehurtley @chort @wdormann I have a kind-of somewhat similar story. So, we also support software and much of it is enterprisey. There was an error created in one where it would SEGFAULT at start. On the THIRD year of deployment, the partner complained that it was not starting, can we fix it. Of course, we fixed it.

But it took 3 YEARS since release, until they wanted to move their product to the newer releases, that anyone noticed.

Enterprise software is where the dragons be 😉

"should never be called" means customers will hit it after 10 minutes. But since it's enterprise software, then support will say "this is unsupported configuration", no? 😉

@wdormann It seems this feature is located in the wrong place -- /etc/fstab seems more appropriate place for flags like these.
