Apparently, the user in question is claiming that their alter was the one actively posting during the time of the incident. The mod team was completely unaware of this, due to the fact that it was all posted from Roxy's account and not their alter's, and that the people defending them repeatedly used the name Roxy and the pronoun "she." Their carrd at the time also listed both people's pronouns as she or they. We apologize for the unintentional conflation of the two if that was indeed the case.
We'd also like to remind people that all nsfw posts beyond light jokes are required to be unlisted, represented by the unlocked padlock icon. You can access this setting under the globe that appears below the new post box. Unlisted posts can still be boosted, but minors browsing the public timelines will not be able to see them. If you see content you believe is too nsfw for the public timeline, please send a report or DM one of the mods and we'll give them a friendly reminder.

We decided to prohibit talk like this by minors even in unlisted and followers-only posts because there is still potential for adults to be able to see those posts. This rule also applies to the sex lives of fictional minors, something we realized wasn't clearly prohibited in the original rule against pedophilia. Adults found discussing the sex life or kinks of any minor, real or fictional, aged up or not, will be punished much more harshly and most likely immediately banned.

We do want to clarify that we don't want to place the responsibility on minors to avoid inappropriate interactions with adults, and in most situations we won't be instabanning people for mild violations. However, anyone can interact with a public post and people don't always check ages before they do. Discouraging minors from posting about their sex lives is a measure that will help avoid situations that could potentially get both the minor and unaware adults in legal trouble.

We've made a slight update to our TOS under the rules regarding pedophilia. After a couple of situations of this nature came up, we realized that we needed to be a little more specific about what types of sexual content we don't allow minors to post. While we absolutely don't want to go the route of other sites and censor minors talking and learning about their own identities, we also need to make sure we're not hosting anything illegal and keep all of our users safe.
