Hi folks, the server is likely to get rebooted a few times this evening. I'm trying to set up a writefreely instance on the server but it's not federating with iceshrimp properly. I doubt there will be prolonged downtime but I can foresee doing a few reboots here and there. Server reboot generally takes a couple minutes.

Good news, the PostgreSQL issue has been resolved! We have successfully migrated the database to the newer version of PostgreSQL 🥳
We have updated a bunch of software on the server! But we hit a snag with migrating the PostgreSQL database to the newer version. For now we're still on the old version, but we'll need some more downtime in the future to fix the issue.

Intersex people (as a community) are the authorities on what intersex is and who is/isn’t intersex.Doctors and biomedical researchers can provide valuable knowledge, but are not the authorities on deciding who belongs. 2. The intersex community broadly and unanimously agrees that hyperandrogenism attributed to PCOS is an intersex variation. We similarly welcome people with Poland syndrome.3. Intersex people can have any gender. Some intersex people are trans, but most are not. Some intersex people feel “cis” and “trans” are too simplistic for our experiences and instead prefer intersex-specific terminology such as ipsogender (your gender is same as AGAB), ultergender (your gender is different than AGAB), and intergender (your gender is affected by being intersex).4. You cannot transition to become intersex.You can transition to having mixed sex characteristics, for which the terms “altersex” and “Salmacian” exist.5. The term h*rmaphrodite is an intersexist slur. We are agnostic on whether the term should be reclaimed. Either way, perisex (non-intersex) people should be avoiding it.
