I'm all for it. If you recall, Gattaca had a retro-futuristic aesthetic where they had classic cars. The idea was that those were all electric or hybrid. A return to the classic aesthetics wouldn't be so bad in my opinion.

Visual Studio has done this for WPF and WinForms. It has never worked reliably. The onus was always on the developer to create design mode data. We always ended up just opening the app since it was too much of a pain. It seems to be a problem no one can solve properly, I guess.

If you're still using Chrome for performance reasons:
- Firefox is now faster than Chrome out-of-the-box
- Firefox uses less memory than Chrome
- Contrary to Chrome, Firefox does not restrict Ad blockers, which will make your browsing experience much faster (and safer).
