This is an awesome animated video that squeezes Earth's 4.5 billion-year history into one hour (about one million years per second). I love videos that try to scale very large concepts (numbers, distance, time, etc.) into something our tiny brains can comprehend.

It's amazing how far into this "hour" you'll be before life begins to emerge on the planet. Blink at the end and you'll miss all of human history which occurs in the last couple of seconds. 🤯

Typically, the #ISS camera is pointed straight down at Earth, but last night I looked over in time to see it catching the curvature of the Earth. They must have been repositioning it or something.
