I cannot wait for Doom Patrol to resume. It is solidly in my top ten favorite television series of all time.
I really hope that DC continues to ignore the cries of the Snyderites and keep Zach away from DC properties. I've had all of the grim and gritty superhero takes I can stomach. Get rid of the darkness and let there be heroic light.
I would love to see a series - comics, film, or TV - set in the shadowed fringes of the DC universe - the not quite sane and questionably real corners populated by the Morrison/Pollack Doom Patrol, John Rozum's Xombi, Morrison's Animal Man, and China Mieville's iteration of Dial H for Hero.
Are there any other characters with a similarly odd bent existing in this liminal space?
I agree with most of what Matt is saying here. He's describing what we need in a less hate-filled (and $-driven) social web.
