@mueller_minki Hi! I've become interested in your PowerPC port of Minecraft 1.8.9 recently -- I was wondering, is there any way to enable Mojang/Microsoft authentication on that? I figured out how to get the required tokens for my account using other tools, but appending them to the Java command line does not seem to do anything, the client will start in 'offline' mode regardless. If you have any ideas, let me know. Thanks!
@ActionRetro Finally had a chance to give this a go. It's so smooth on the default settings that I actually started turning stuff up
I picked up this Asteroids arcade cabinet yesterday for $50. Does need significant work, but man, what a deal!
@TechConnectify Feeling very dark orange here

I do need to vacuum, but I actually feel like my living room looks kinda nice for the first time in a while (picked up this sectional last Wednesday)

Atari Portfolio just came in! I've been after one of these for a LONG time!
It was a real pain to get apart (took me two evenings and some new tools to get the clock body open), but the only thing that really needed to be fixed was the section of power cord that ran through the strain relief.

Just bought this late '30s Streamline Moderne style clock for $15.

I'm told it's broken, but I'll try to fix it.

this is such a tiny detail, but i always thought it added so much atmosphere and sense of place to king's quest v

in the floppy disk edition of the game, when you enter the area adjacent to the village, the carnivalesque music plays at an almost-inaudible volume. the moment you step into the village proper, suddenly the music is loud and lively.

this type of cinematic effect is commonplace now, but in 1990 it was pretty much unheard of. the next time i would see it used was in Monkey Island 2 with iMUSE, and in Ultima VII: The Black Gate.

side note: i absolutely love the bird's nest painted on the rooftops at such a high angle, uncommon in adventure games
