@b0rk I think I get a little confused about what happens with merge conflicts re the staging area. It seems slightly different than the normal “edit file, add to index” workflow (sometimes I resolve changes and don’t need to add, sometimes I do? I think?)

@b0rk i love being able to easily test out updating libraries/programs and switch or roll back to the previous state. i can also trivially share my config among a personal + work computer, so the "reproducible" part is nice too.
