This Alameda pitch deck really looks like a ponzi. Are people with that much money really this dumb? https://twitter.com/dylanleclair_/status/1591521505464455168?s=46&t=NvvcVweiUGLoTQtJbXduGQ

“I received the 2019 Alameda pitch deck over DM this summer & it was so egregious my first thought was that it was fake. - “15% annualized fixed rate loans” - “These loans have no downside” - Multiple grammatical errors - Up only returns w/ no drawdowns Ponzi from the start”

Considering making the move to hachyderm. Before I do, any other servers I should consider?
Margin Call and The Big Short are iconic movies largely also because of the cast. I really wonder what the movies about Celsius and FTX will look like. The characters are so bizarre and the story so idiotic. Can’t imagine them not being done as comedies.
Since I just saw @hynek toot? about this, I might add to this. I would love feedback on my Github sponsors profile and what would compel you to sponsor :) https://github.com/sponsors/mitsuhiko

How do I teach the mastodon client to not constantly hide certain messages?
This is probably one of the most insane descriptions of what’s happening at Twitter I have read yet. Why would anyone still work there after this? https://blog.pragmaticengineer.com/cruel-changes-at-twitter/
Cruel Changes at Twitter

The speedrun for a complete culture overhaul at Twitter continues, and may conclude just two weeks after Elon Musk bought the company. Managers will have 20+ reports and are expected to code at least 20% of the time.

After our trip to Legoland, the kids wanted a certain game to be replicated. This has turned into a little Godot family programming #project that is making some progress. Surprisingly fun little engine.
It really seems like Musk is fucking up that Twitter thing so much that I might as well publish some stuff here too.
@glyph @asmodai I mean Armin (mastodon.cloud) and Paul (qoto.org) are both on instances that are blocked by Hachyderm and that block list has no reasoning over why (they even used to block fosstodon: https://github.com/hachyderm/hack/commit/f930a7d4b6e597a109aeaca44e9db7440c1c5668).

The kids played a single button game at the Legoland hotel and wanted it at home too. I figured we can probably build it ourselves and stated diving into Godot. Surprisingly fun. However the most interesting experience for me is that GDScript is not at all terrible and quite easy to get used to if you know Python.
