@gruber I know you’re not a magician, but I bet you’ll find these interesting and worthy of your attention. Check out the jokers.

I’ve been reading @gruber’s Daring Fireball for over twenty years. I agree with his perspective on just about everything… except politics. That being said, please read this piece he posted after the election.
This is what writing is for.
@atpfm l’m a couple of episodes behind, but I’ve been listening to you talk about Chromebooks in schools and the benefits they offer over Macs. One thing you haven’t touched on yet is the power Google affords us for user management.
I’ve worked as a director of technology at several schools and the ability to generate Google accounts for users, then manage and control those users in powerful ways, is the real differentiator. Apple’s bulk managed iCloud account system is a mess in comparison.

Another gem from Godin. Again, if you don’t like something you read online, the problem isn’t the poster.
“Free speech, except for hate speech” is not free speech.

“There’s a growing body of data that shows that the growth of smartphones has also led to a significant decrease in optimism and life satisfaction, particularly among young people. But it’s not the phone that’s the problem, it’s the way attention is manipulated by the companies that create the apps on our phones.”
Important reminder: if you don’t like what you see someone post online, the poster is not the problem.
