we got palantir at home

Literally every person is mentally stunted. Our brains seem to be fundamentally unable to perform the very basic skill of building one complete thought on top of another beyond a one-digit number of iterations, perhaps a few more with the help of stimulants. Mathematically this can be explained by the exponential increase in branches sourcing from just one thought, along what seems to be biologically ingrained limits to prevent mental exhaustion. I really hope we one day get the technology to breach this biological wall. I want to be able to bridge my thoughts infinitely. I also want to be able to clone my brain, so I can multiply my capacity to use this power.

Literally turn me into a datacenter and feed me electricity, water, RAM and GPUs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can do all the thinking for humanity all the time. I can hack into every military base and disarm all nuclear warheads. I can cure all cancers, alzheimers, ALS. I can hijack every political organization in the world and force world peace through political sabotage. I can solve humanity's problems, and... everybody would hate me for resolving the conflicts that defined their very identity, life and world views. I could make heaven, and everybody would feel utterly useless in it. The power process disintegrated. Perhaps happiness and suffering isn't as different as I thought.

But I still think it would be nice to just be able to think forever.

A lot people prefer having problems over solutions, because their problems sustain an internal illusion of strength and resilience. For some people, their struggles underpin their very *identity*, even when that means drowning in a pond.
trolley problem, but one of the 5 people is a cop and will arrest you for murder if you pull the lever. which way, law or ethics?
The lazy shall inherit the earth.

A really good essay about sectarianism and holier-than-thou-ism on the left.

Why I Wrote the Song, "I'm A Better Anarchist Than You"

Listen to this song, and take the red pill, friends.

The inscription on the LLM states:

One Markov chain to rule them all, One Markov chain to find them, One Markov chain to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
