I will sometimes post reviews or impressions on comics, animes, and plastic models here on this account, both for practicing English and for placing myself in wider contexts out of Japanese-language okatu communities.
Also, I will be often reading the public local timeline of this server and may occasionally react to the posts seen there.
LanguageJapanese, simple English, and elementary German (Here I will usually post in English)
Profile picture (media description)A rubber strap from "Reincarnated as the Seventh Prince". A cute devil with pale orange skin and goat horns, shaped two heads high.
Header picture (media description)Interior view of the Western-style building "Weathercock House" in Kobe. Sofas, a clock, a cabinet, etc. are arranged by the window.

I made a simple comparison table between the original novel and its comic adaptation for "The One Within the Villainess".

『悪役令嬢の中の人』原作小説版と漫画版の比較

まきぶろ『悪役令嬢の中の人』(原作小説、単巻)と、白梅スズナによる漫画版(既刊5巻[全6巻予定?])の内容比較。

New comic: "世界は終わっても生きるって楽しい" (Even if the World is Over, it's Fun to Live) volume seven.
The main characters are tiny funny creatures surviving in a post-apocalyptic world where human civilization was extinct. They fight against huge dangerous beasts, explore the ruined buildings for discovering useful relics, and travel to find better places to live.
Based on the image of "Nausicaa" as well as "The Long Afternoon of Earth", and committing the recent mode of dailylife-or-travel-in-post-catastrophe-world since "Girls' Last Tour", this work is one of the most remarkable achievement within this genre, IMHO.
The graphical designs of creatures are original; the story is mysterious and serious in spite of the cheerful and positive personalities of the main characters.

New comic: 魔法使いにただいま ("I'm home" to my wizard) volume three.
The protagonist, an elementary school teacher, lives with a 300-year-old wizard from another world.
The partner basically looks a young woman, but is physically a non-sexual existence who can transform to both male-like and female-like appearances. She(?) is always smiling cheerfully, her magicmakes their communal life happy, and they take care of each other.
In this final volume, the events of when they first met in his childhood are described, and they are going to continue happy lives beyond races and genders.

New comic: ヤン先輩はひとりで生きていけない (Yang Can't Live Alone) volume one.
The protagonist is a strong, independent, diligent, and kind university student, but she has been hurt by the words "You are neither cute nor adorable".
She happens to meet an exchange student from China, who appreciates her personality. And he himself has some difficulty in relationship.
The tone of this manga is bright with her active character and her goodness to help others, but the theme of the story is serious. This work can be categorized in "romance in a strange relationship", but I hope that this manga will go beyond the frame.

Not only is the shoushimin s2 opening great on its own but the song's actual mv also has some amazing animation.

ps. searching for 火星人 (martian) on youtube brought Bruno Mars as the main result, which I thought was kinda funny.

There have been both large budget online games and low budget ones, of course. But, as is often said, the small budget plans tend to be invisible as they often end immediately before we recognize them: "news of service termination is easy to see in our own country or our familiar culture, while only the high budget blockbusters are introduced from overseas".

It is certain and sad that too many projects subject to and depend on the idea of gacha, but a lot of games are still free from those systems as well, including indies...I would like to buy them.

In 00s,
1) digital game makers were suffering from the illegal sharing of data severely (*at first and especially, 18+ bishoujo games faced the problem).
2) Besides, the market of the early cell phone games were expanding rapidly but there were limited in the ways the developers could make money from them.
3) Japanese economy were falling into the looong recession ("the lost decades") and the companies which were running out of financial resources tried to go for the smaller projects.
4) As the online infrastructures are developed, "(special) download contents" became so popular.

Thus, I (can sadly) understand the circumstances the way has become widespread through the 10s. (cont.)

Today I enjoyed the long holidays "Golden Week" fully at home playing some simulation games, watching animes online, reading new comics, assembling plastic kits, listening to classical music, tasting seasonal sweets, and now posting something on the blog and social media.
