@mangochutney For me, it’s every time I put my hand lotion, I make sure I finish whatever tasks I have before I do. As I put on the lotion, nope, there’s more and of course, I have to wash my hands and redo the lotion. Every time.
@paul What’s wrong with LG monitors? The AI features they are describing sounds like the same AI features that’s been in their TVs for years now; nothing unusual. It seems like they are just blurring the line between monitor/tv.
@vivdunstan I do not know if you are aware but on physical Kindles, you can sideload and use any custom fonts you want. Not a lot of folks know about this. There are some really good fonts that are designed for various accessibility needs.
@dandrews I’m wondering if they are hesitating on this because of their previous price-fixing collusion issues which might be scaring them from moving further on this.

@bigzaphod For a lot of folks, they're just trading it in and not paying more of what they pay now; so why not get the latest if you can afford 20-30$ a month or even less with trade in.
I don’t think anything else came out since last Nov in terms of a solid front-lit e-ink reader IMO. Eink is a mature technology, there hasn’t been anything new for a while with the exception of color eink.

@mangochutney @aleen Agreed, lack of front light is a huge factor for me too. I have a 13” BOOX Note Max which has an incredible text quality but meh ghosting and no light. Have to use a light clip on it.
They did release a front light / color version of this called Note Tab XC. I tried it but returned it as it was too compromising for how much it cost. It might work for you if that is what you want. (1/2)

@bigzaphod @Iconfactory Yep, I uninstalled the iPad version a few weeks ago when the macOS build came out and installed the macOS build specifically.
Not sure what’s up. I’ve tried to read the logs, nothing odd outside of a sandbox restriction issue.
Hopefully, it’s a one time thing.
