I'm out here.
Data center/network technician.
Fingerstyle guitarist and Hip-Hop songwriter.
I plated this terribly (I was hungry 😅) but it was too good not to post: Churrasco-style roasted lamb breast with broccoli-farro salad, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and seared asparagus. Easily one of the best meals I've made in quite a while 😊
I'm a guitarist and a rapper first and foremost, but I will always be grateful for the years where I worked almost exclusively as a bassist. It started off as a series of gigs just to keep things moving during a stagnant period, but during that time I developed massively in terms of timing, groove, vibe, and knowing when your moment is (and where it is NOT).

Guitar helped me find my voice, but bass guitar helped me find my musical sense and made me an effective live communicator on stage.
My job took me to Phoenix this week, and I decided to check out the Desert Botanical Garden. It was so hot but so fun at the same time 😊

Saw something new at work today. Today's job was a migration from one data center to another and the client has these REALLY tall 52U racks.

Our job was to move these 8 foot racks through normal-sized doors. Which is impossible; these racks weigh over 2000 pounds, and humans aren't tipping that by hand unless you want one less human than you started with.

Our welder made a server tilt machine for the job, and it was really cool to see it in action.

#towncon is over and I was unable to make something in time for submission, but here's a small post-event tribute: I was brainstorming town t-shirt designs and looking at all of the different drafts back-to-back made me think of all of the people I've met and the different paths that brought us all here.

All that being said: here's some tilde designs I threw together 😊

#towncon was amazing. I can't remember the last time I was in a room where everyone was so different in their story, experience, and interests but so similar in energy and vibe.

I met everyone here for the first time, but the entire event felt like I was hanging out with old friends. I haven't felt that "at home" since I left my lifelong friends in St. Louis.

To everyone who's welcomed me digitally or in-person, thank you. 🙏
