A lovely day in Beacon, NY, with a friend: three hours in the DIA modern art museum - where I explained Fibonacci to a group trying to understand why specific numbers were written on the wall - followed by three miles straight uphill to a fire tower view of the Hudson River. With the autumn leaves gone from the trees, we had clear views in all directions.
