@whitequark I learned that from raspberry pi's and their tendency to destroy cheap SD cards.

This one came with the printer and I didn't think about it until the software said it couldn't upload the file, because the storage was read only.

Looking for a new job as an Embedded Software Engineer.

I have 3 years of experience as an embedded software engineer in an R&D team. Mostly with embedded C, real-time operating systems, ESP32, communication protocols, and some hardware design.

I'm specifically looking for companies that work on sustainability, health, education, privacy, FOSS, or similar fields. In the eastern part of the Netherlands or hybrid/remote.

If anyone knows any interesting companies, please let me know!

3d Printing is the Future: this time I couldn't print because the micro SD card in the printer got corrupted.

I designed another eurorack synth module. This time a bit of a dev board for experimenting with audio using a ch32v003 microcontroller programmed in rust.

And because I wanted to keep other names for more serious modules, I named this one BLEP

@whitequark I'm very curious which route the packages are going to take this time
@whitequark I just did a jlcpcb and a lcsc order
Having fun with the Big Boy locomotive, and made it pull a long coal train
I put a decent circle of track on the floor to make the Big Boy really go and got the full American railroad experience (derailing cars because of bad track pieces, cars needing maintenance, bad couplers.)
