The truth is that 8$ (adjusted for user’s cost of living/income) was a totally fair price, assuming you enjoy twitters effects on your brain. People should have embraced it and gotten over the freemium tier, with expectations for better transparency and tracking. Elon was too polarizing to make that argument.
