Final post of the year and a highly subjective selection of my images from this year, aka best of 2023 photography favourites. A new trend(?) on Instagram: someone likes my photos then follows me. A couple of days later a message: “you have amazing photos “. Any reply triggers a follow up message/offer to buy my pictures as NFTs and pay me some crypto cash. Some of these accounts then disappear. The weird thing is, some of them have huge following and have been around for a while.
At an event, discussing with colleagues whether the state of the carpet influences the participants’ mood/perception of the event.
I find it funny when people who normally say hi and chat while walking their dogs completely blank me when they bump into me at the station. Both them and I temporarily without our distinctive furry features. Perfect strangers again.
