Is there a concern though with the RFC method? I suspect as it's a standard other products are likely using it as well...

@Lee_Holmes I think they are trying to stay cross-platform now, and by switching to RFC6979 they do that, only this time with a vetted process to generate the signature that works across all platforms.

If RFC6979 is flawed, then this should absolutely be talked about though.

@hacks4pancakes I have to say, each time I've purchased a new car (from a dealership), it took hours to get thru the sales process.

'Spontaneous' is not quite the word I would choose... :)
