As of now, the shooter is not in custody and there are no images of them. 2 Dead, 8 critical but stable confirmed. Early reports of 20+ victims based on scanner traffic have yet to be corroborated. Second shooting location was also unfounded. PD suspects one shooter in all black clothes. All other reporting is unfounded and likely based on misunderstanding of scanners or active misinformation.

What should cause concern in people's minds is that there was no city wide alert for non-Brown affiliated citizens at the city or state level or at least not by text, call or email.
For everyone's knowledge, apparently during the press conference it might have been mentioned that the doors to the Engineering building require swipe access. At the time the shooting was reported, exams were being held in the building so the exterior doors were likely unlocked and the large front door near where the shooting might have started is never locked this early in the day.
