Parents of a kid in my youngest's class are also academics and will move to Cyprus for a new job and a return home this summer. In their clear-out, they offered me some books, including this baby: typically more "uni library" fare than "personal collection", so I'm glad to have it on my shelf.

A lovely thing to find in my pigeonhole in the mail room: a copy of my colleague Simon Brodbeck's new book with Cardiff University Press.

He's not on this site so will get no lift from this, but he's a Sanskrit scholar looking at early Hindu theology and the Mahabarata.
