Hi theATL.social! Did you know that there is a reddit-replacement-ish service on theATL.social: https://yall.theatl.social ?
The service runs on Lemmy, which runs on the Fediverse just like Mastodon. You can even follow communities (e.g., subreddits) from Lemmy on Mastodon. 🤯
As part of this service, at the/c/AtlantaNews community, various news feeds about/from Atlanta are aggregated, where you can read, comment, vent, respond thoughtfully, and even respond impulsively to anything posted.
On the tech side of things: I've re-worked the news posting process, so make things more reliable - and the Lemmy software is rapidly reaching version 1.0, which should boost performance and other good stuff.

And if anyone is looking for a super-easy way to blur faces in pics and videos, check out: https://github.com/ORB-HD/deface, an open source python-based library. It's super-duper easy to use, and all the processing takes place on your local desktop/laptop.
But, for the love of the Gods, do not upload a pic to any "free" online service for face blurring. That sorta defeats the purpose 🙃
