I'm hard pressed to make crowd estimates but I want to say we had at least a couple thousand people! And at least eight inflatable animal costumes!
With the deeply disturbing news coming out of New York, it's vital more than ever to vote, ESPECIALLY for local elections.
I almost missed this particular primary if it had not been for the organizers of the local #NoKings rally. I hope other people were similarly informed.
I finally have a day off to go to a local protest and not a moment too soon!
Usually I take my camera to cover the protest, but this will be the first time I'll be strictly carrying a homemade sign!
